Update on Sunday Worship Times

I am reaching out to share the news that the wardens and I have decided to keep our 9 am Sunday worship service in place for the remainder of the 2021 calendar year. Beginning September 12, Sunday School for our children and youth will meet at 9 am also, and they will join the service at the Peace. We will revisit times of worship later in December when we prepare to head into a new year. Until then, we will maintain our current steady course as our top priority continues to be the health and safety of the community as the COVID pandemic evolves.

Please know that over the last several weeks we have had many discussions with vestry members, staff, and several parishioners who have shared their opinions and highlighted many important considerations. Our overriding concern is contending with the challenges caused by the recent surge of the Delta variant. Our endeavor is to provide a safe and welcoming place for everyone to worship at St. Mike’s whether be it in-person or via Zoom.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we strive to be the Living Body of Christ where we are known by our love for God and for each other.
