On Feb. 22 we celebrate Mary Bailey’s birthday and share thoughts and reflections on the One Word she chose for her focus during 2022: Trust.
March: Grief and Faith
We will attend (virtually) a series of classes offered by Bloy House.
- March 1: How to grieve in a healthy manner?
- March 8: What do the scriptures teach us about grieving?
- March 15: How does our faith sustain us?
- March 22: We will reflect on the losses from the pandemic & our health crisis and how we can turn to the divine to guide us during these difficult times.
Led by Victor Luna, M.S.W., M.Div., school social worker with the Los Angeles Unified School District.
While grief and loss are universal, they are also complicated and complex processes. In these four sessions, we will review the stages of grief and the array of emotions that we experience when we lose someone or something of value in our lives.
Participants will reflect on the losses from the pandemic and health crisis and how to turn to the divine for guidance during these difficult times.
