Sunday, Nov. 13 - The Very Rev. Gary Hall, Guest Celebrant and Preacher

To launch the 2022 Stewardship Campaign, The Very Rev. Canon Gary Hall, President of Bloy House and former dean of Washington National Cathedral, is guest celebrant and homilist at Saint Michael’s on Sunday, November 13. At Bloy House (formerly The Episcopal Theological School at Claremont), Canon Hall is charting a new course in education services for the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. A focus of this effort is developing a robust lay formation program to help lay leaders discern their ministry and grow their faith. Hall was dean, president, and professor of Anglican Studies at Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and has taught at UCLA and Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. The congregations he has served include All Saints Pasadena, where he was senior clergy associate for education for 11 years. He has written, edited or contributed to many scholarly books, articles, commentaries, and book reviews. It is an honor to have Canon Hall join us.
