St. Mike's Adopts a Family for the Holidays

Since its inception, Save Our Selves (SOS) has been linking generous community members with families in need of extra support during the holidays. This is the 51st year of the Share Our Selves annual Adopt A Family Program. This wonderful holiday tradition supports many struggling Orange County families by providing gifts and food for the holidays.
Like so many families this year, Mary, Danny, and the boys are struggling financially and emotionally. This family needs our help more than ever!
Danny was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis a year ago and is unable to work due to his deteriorating health. Mary is currently unemployed due to Covid-19. She is actively looking for work, but jobs are difficult to find right now. The family receives some financial assistance from EDD, but it falls short in providing enough income for rent and the necessities. Ethan, Eduardo and Danny, Jr. need new shoes. A gift card from Vans would be an incredibly special treat and would allow them to select their perfect fit and choice. Gift cards from Target or Costco will allow the family to purchase the food and household essentials they need. Your kindness and generosity will bring hope, comfort, and joy to this lovely family this Christmas and beyond.
