Annual Meeting: Sunday, February 11
Following the Sunday morning worship, all St. Michael’s parishioners and friends are invited to attend our Annual Meeting! We look forward to seeing you there!
What is Episcopal Evangelism? How does it differ from stereotypical evangelism? What does Episcopal Evangelism ask us to do? What does Episcopal Evangelism not ask us to do? These questions and many more will be addressed in the six-session Embracing Evangelism course. Each session lasts one hour and comprises watching a video created by Virginia Theological Seminary, doing a class activity, and participating in class discussions. This class is free of charge. Coffee, tea, water, and an afternoon snack will be provided.

Please join us for the five Wednesday nights in Lent to learn more in a “crash course” of the history of Anglicanism. Fr. Shane Scott-Hamblen will be this year’s guest presenter. Soup and salad will be served “monastic style” during our dinner hour with readings from the Desert Fathers and Mothers. Fr. Shane will be highlighting monastics’ insights and idiosyncrasies. Please bring your questions and look forward to the time of lively discussion! Our time together will close with chanting Compline promptly at 7:30pm.
