Baroque Festival 40th Anniversary!

Co-founded by our Minister of Music Emeritus Burton Carson, The Baroque Music Festival Corona del Mar celebrates this milestone year with Artistic Director Elizabeth Blumenstock, the Festival Orchestra and Chorus, and distinguished soloists for a grand tour of Europe and beyond. Again St. Michael and All Angels will be one of the featured venues for the festival. The itinerary includes the finest music by composers from across Europe and works evoking cultures beyond. We will be delighted by music written for the stage, choral works, solo concertos, Baroque-era folk music, an orchestral suite by J.S. Bach, and much more. Guest artists include soprano Sherezade Panthaki, tenor Kyle Stegall, lutenist-director Stephen Stubbs, and harpsichordist-director Henry Lebedinsky.
