Lent to Go
This year we begin our Lenten observance with two services on Ash Wednesday, February 17th, at noon and 7:30 pm via Zoom.
As with so many things we have experienced this past year, this will be a very different service because of the pandemic. We continue to follow safety precautions and the directive from our bishops, so we will not offer the imposition of ashes as part of the Ash Wednesday liturgy. The imposition of ashes is an optional part of the liturgy and does not affect the efficacy of this solemn service.
Instead, we will offer “Lent to Go” bags containing spiritual resources to help you keep a holy and meaningful Lent. Even though we cannot gather together in our sanctuary, please continue to pray for our faith community, our nation, and the world as we enter into this most holy time as brothers and sisters in Christ.
