Annual Stewardship Campaign
On Nov. 12, 2023 we launch the Saint Michael and All Angels 2024 Stewardship Campaign with an All Parish Town Hall meeting after the service.
The annual parish budget is based on your pledges and supplemented by donations from community groups who use our campus facilities. Your annual pledge to Saint Michael and All Angels helps support all the wonderful programs of worship and outreach that St. Michaels’ provides to its members and to the outside community.
The Finance Committee and Vestry have been very active managing the parish’s finances during the past several years. We are committed to a balanced budget. Knowing that in 2024, the annual donations from St. Monica’s Coptic Church and Harbor Day School will no longer supplement our income, the Finance Committee and Vestry established a reserve fund with the savings of not having a full-time Rector. Based on current projections, this Reserve Fund will be extinguished by the end of 2024. With this knowledge, the Finance Committee and Vestry launched a task force to research ways to bridge this revenue shortfall. We are evaluating every option with genuine potential to support our mission for this and future generations at Saint Michael and All Angels.
Sunday, December 3, 2023 will be Giving Sunday, where the pledge cards will be collected at the altar. You may also return the enclosed Pledge Card by mail, or go online to our website to make your pledge for 2024.
We pray you have considered a level of proportional giving that is right for you and your family. If you cannot tithe, consider increasing your pledge as you are able.
If you have not pledged in the past, please consider making the commitment this year. If you do pledge, we hope you are able to increase your pledge to help us meet our goal. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
